LOCTITE 577 is a yellow, medium-strength methacrylate-based thread sealant designed for general-purpose sealing of metal threads and fittings. It cures in the absence of air and in contact with metal surfaces, effectively preventing loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration. This high-performance sealant offers a fixture cure time of 10 minutes and achieves full cure in 24 hours, operating efficiently within a wide temperature range from -55°C to +150°C. It is capable of sealing threads up to M80 / R3" and can withstand pressures up to 68947.6 kPa (10,000 psi).
