This left-side chisel is the replaceable ground-engaging tip for a tillage machine. It mounts on the tine or shank where it fractures and loosens soil ahead of the following tool. The two mounting holes align with the tine’s bolt pattern; the matching bolt is specified separately. As the chisel wears, the cutting edge blunts and draft force increases, reducing fuel efficiency and soil breakup. The original manufacturer machines the chisel to the same shank thickness and hole spacing as the factory assembly, so it seats without shimming and maintains the original working angle. On installation, use new hardware and torque the bolts to the implement’s specification.
