Genuine Loctite 577 medium-strength, general-purpose thread sealant designed for the locking and sealing of metal pipes and fittings. This yellow, thixotropic anaerobic adhesive cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. It prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration, offering excellent chemical and thermal resistance. Ideal for fast applications at low temperatures, it seals up to M80/R3" threads and withstands temperatures from -55°C to +150°C. Provides high-pressure sealing up to 34.5 MPa (5000 psi) and has a fixture time of 10-20 minutes.
