This bolt secures the conical point (dłuto) to the plow leg or share. It passes through the point and threads into the leg, clamping the point against its seat. The conical head shape matches the countersink in the point, centering the bolt under load and preventing the point from shifting during operation. A loose or worn bolt allows the point to rock, accelerating wear on the seat and the bolt itself.
