Kubota E-75 – Main ECU (Engine Control Unit): Acceleration sensor output out of spec.

The voltage signal being sent from the acceleration sensor (the potentiometer that measures the position of the hand throttle or foot pedal) to the controller is falling outside of the expected or programmed voltage parameters, causing the tractor's drive-by-wire system to default to a limp mode with restricted engine idle speed and no throttle response.

   Check the meter's diagnostic mode (Mode A or Mode C) to view the live voltage reading of the acceleration sensor to determine if it is dead or reading out of range.

   Inspect the 5-amp Main ECU fuse. A blown ECU fuse can cause communication errors and trigger multiple codes (such as E-31 and E-75) simultaneously.

   Inspect the sensor mechanism attached to the support of the accelerator knob/pedal for physical damage, packed mud, or debris preventing the throttle mechanism from moving its full sweep or centering correctly.

   Check the wiring harness and the electrical connector at the acceleration sensor for corrosion, loose pins, or broken wires.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery cable to protect the ECU.

   Locate the Sensor

   Remove the necessary console or dash cowlings to access the throttle linkage. Locate the acceleration sensor (potentiometer) mounted to the accelerator knob/pedal support bracket.

   Remove the Faulty Sensor

   Unplug the electrical connector from the sensor. Remove the mounting screws/bolts holding the sensor to the bracket and slide it off the linkage.

   Install the New Sensor

   Mount the replacement acceleration sensor in the exact orientation as the old one. Secure the mounting hardware and plug the electrical connector back in.

   Clear the Codes

   Reconnect the battery. Turn the ignition on and enter the meter's diagnostic mode (Mode B) to clear the stored E-75 fault code.

   Test Operation

   Start the tractor and test the hand throttle and foot pedal to ensure the engine revs smoothly and the code does not return.
