Case IH 5 0 – Hitch Controller (EDC - Electronic Draft Control ECU) or Armrest Controller: Left load pin failed
Descrizione del problema
Indicates a failure in the left draft load sensing pin. The controller has detected that the signal voltage from the left pin is out of the specified range, typically caused by an open circuit, a short circuit to ground/power, or an internal failure of the sensor itself.

Verifica la causa
Inspect the wiring harness and the plastic weather connector going to the left load pin for physical damage, corrosion, or loose connections.
Test the wiring harness for continuity from the pin connector back to the Hitch ECU. Check for a short to ground or a short to the reference voltage.
Test the resistance of the load pin itself across its terminals to verify if the internal strain gauge has failed (an open circuit is the most common failure).
Attempt to clear the hitch fault codes and run a hitch calibration cycle. If the sensor has failed, the calibration will abort and the code will return.
Passaggi di riparazione
Relieve Tension
Lower the 3-point hitch completely to the ground to relieve all physical tension and hydraulic pressure on the lower link arms.
Disconnect Wiring
Unplug the electrical connector from the left draft load sensing pin.
Remove the Pin
Remove the retaining bolt or snap ring securing the load pin to the lower link bracket. Support the heavy lower link arm and slide the old load pin out.
Install the New Part
Clean the bore and insert the new load pin. Ensure that any alignment flats or notches are positioned correctly so the sensor measures the draft force in the proper direction.
Reassemble
Reinstall the retaining hardware and plug the electrical connector back in.
Calibrate the Hitch
You must perform a Hitch Calibration procedure using the tractor's display or diagnostic tool. This maps the new sensor's zero-load voltage to the Hitch ECU. The hitch will not operate correctly until this calibration is successfully completed.
