This skid, a Płoza, is the replaceable wear component that contacts the ground on a disc mower. It protects the mower's cutter bar from abrasion and sets the cutting height by riding along the soil surface. As the skid wears, the cutting height decreases and the cutter bar becomes more vulnerable to impact damage. This original part is manufactured to the same profile and attachment geometry as the factory-fitted component, so it mounts directly to the mower frame without modification.
